This Privacy Policy explains how Snack Mountain ("Snack Mountain," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from snackmtn.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Personal information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Order and account information you provide: name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information (processed securely by our payment processor).
- Device and usage information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies: IP address, browser type, time zone, pages and products viewed, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.
- Customer support information you share when you contact us.
We use this information to fulfill your orders, process payments, arrange shipping, provide customer support, prevent fraud, operate and improve the Site, and, where permitted, send you marketing and show you relevant ads.
How we share personal information
We share personal information with service providers and partners who help us run our business, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform), our payment processor, ShipStation (shipping), and our advertising and analytics partners such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and Pinterest. We may also disclose information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights.
We share certain information with advertising partners to show you relevant ads on other sites and services (often called "cross-context behavioral advertising"). Under some U.S. state privacy laws, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. You can opt out of this advertising-related sharing at any time, as described below.
Your privacy choices and rights
Opt out of advertising-related sharing. To opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising, visit our Your Privacy Choices page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if you visit the Site with GPC enabled, we treat it as a request to opt out for that browser and device.
California and other U.S. state residents. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
- Request deletion of your personal information;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information; and
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at sales@snackmtn.com or use the Your Privacy Choices page. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, and we may ask the agent for proof of authorization.
EEA and UK residents. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, port, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies in three broad categories: (1) strictly necessary cookies that make the Site and checkout work; (2) analytics and performance cookies that help us understand how the Site is used; and (3) advertising cookies that help us and our partners show you relevant ads. Strictly necessary cookies are always active. You can opt out of advertising-related cookies through our Your Privacy Choices page, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you do. For more on managing cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you using solely automated processing. Our platform, Shopify, uses limited automated processing to help prevent fraud, such as temporarily blocking IP addresses or payment cards associated with repeated failed transactions.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
